Choose a simple figure
For a first piñata, choose a clear outline such as a circle, a fruit or an animal in profile. Pieces with modelled volume need a different technique.
Faces, side strip and fringe
Draw the outline on firm cardboard, cut two identical faces and join them with a side strip; in the Candy Art workshop that strip is approximately 12.5 cm. Reinforce the joints, then cover the piece with fringed crepe paper, glued from the bottom up.
Details and a final check
Cut and glue eyes, letters and accessories last, and test the hanging point. If you prefer to learn with guidance, ask about the decorating course for groups.
