Candy Art is a small handmade workshop in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. We make character, seasonal and custom piñatas, floral headpieces for vaquerías, weddings and quinceañeras, satin bows and other made-to-order pieces. Share a concept and ask the workshop to confirm feasibility.
What we make
- Piñatas: characters, animals, numbers, Christmas, Halloween and Mexican Independence Day designs, round or shaped, in the size and colours you choose.
- Floral headpieces: for the Yucatecan vaquería and jarana, weddings, quinceañeras and other events.
- Satin bows: for school colour guards (escoltas), schools, jarana dancers and events.
- Custom concepts: send a photo or idea and ask the workshop whether it can make your design.

How to order
- Choose a piece from the catalogue or use the online designer to describe your own.
- You receive an order number (folio) and we continue on WhatsApp with the quote.
- Payment details are agreed on WhatsApp; nothing is charged on the website.
- We tell you when it is ready and agree on a time to pick it up at the workshop.

Every season has its own page with the models we have made and how to order them. Seasonal prices are never published: ask for them on WhatsApp.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a piñata or headpiece cost?
It depends on the size, shape and detail of each piece, so we quote one by one: send us your idea and we reply with the price on WhatsApp, with no obligation.
How far ahead should I order?
The sooner the better, especially in busy seasons like Christmas, Halloween and September. Message us with your event date and we will confirm if we can make it in time. The online designer asks for at least three days.
Can you make a character that is not on the website?
Yes. Many orders start from an idea or a photo the customer sends, and we sketch the piece from there.
Can I order one exactly like the photo?
Yes. Since everything is handmade there may be small differences, but the design is the same. We can also change colours or add a name.
How do I pick up my piece?
We let you know on WhatsApp as soon as it is ready and agree on a day and time for you to collect it at the workshop.
How do I pay?
Payment details are agreed directly on WhatsApp. Nothing is charged on this website.
Do you take bulk orders?
Yes, from 10 piñatas, for schools, companies, churches and events. Bulk orders ideally need two to three weeks of notice and a 50 % deposit to book the date.
Do you speak English?
